COVID 19 update

Following a recent government press conference on 14 June 2021 and moving along Stage 3 of the roadmap, we wanted to let you know we are still here for you.

We continue to follow Government and National Youth Agency Guidance and are still able to provide services with additional measures in place to do this in a controlled and safe way.

Motiv8 COVID Update

Following the recent press conference on 14 June 2021 and the movement along Step 3 of the roadmap, there have been some changes but we wanted to let you know we are still here for you.

We continue to follow Government and National Youth Agency Guidance and are still able to provide services with additional measures in place to do this in a controlled and safe way.

From the 21 June 2021 there are some different requirements for the delivery of youth sector activities and NYA have confirmed that we can undertake the following support,

  • All youth provision for under 18’s can take place indoors or outdoors
  • Over 18’s can meet indoors or outdoors in support groups for vulnerable young people in groups up to 30 (plus staff) by invite only
  • Online and digital support
  • Detached and outdoor support
  • 121 support

Please see the NYA guidance in our download section or available here.

Our local centres will continue to be staffed virtually (and in person when needed) during this time for those who need support or are in crisis. We recognise these are uncertain times and you may feel unsure about who you can turn to. Please know we are here for you, you are not alone. We would urge you to seek support; if we cannot help you directly we will do all we can to find someone who can.
