You will work across all teams, helping to develop and deliver a range of opportunities and activities to build and engage networks of young people across Motiv8. You will develop positive relationships with young people so that our work is driven by their voices.  You will create innovative ways for young people to engage in the design and delivery of Motiv8’s activities, empowering them to become active citizens and create positive change.

 

You will lead on the Hampshire County Council Care Councils, ensuring all young people have a voice and can feed in their expertise to the council.

Responsibilities

Motiv8 is a dynamic and exciting organisation to be a part of, with no one day the same. You will be responsible for supporting the development of youth led participation across the organisation

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations/CEO and working with the Service Managers in our offices in South East Hampshire (based in Portsmouth, Gosport and Havant).

You will work to develop an organisation wide program of activities and opportunities, helping to increase our youth participation model and to ensure young  people are at the heart of all
that we do.

You will be leading on the current youth participation work on the Hampshire County Council Care Council and will ensure that young people involved in the project have a voice and are able to feedback their thoughts and expertise to the Council.

Qualifications

Motiv8 has seen a huge increase in young people and families who are seeking support and our goal is to ensure that young people and their families receive the right help at the right time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter, who has great communication and interpersonal skills. You will need good organisational skills to manage a complex workload. Importantly, you will want to be part of a charity that passionately believes in making long-term positive difference to young people’s lives.
