Purpose of the job:
Gosport Routes connects communities with creative and cultural experiences, through accessible programming, youth-led decision making and inclusive practice. A typical day for the Community Producer balances grassroots community engagement with collaborative programme planning across Gosport. This could involve facilitating inclusive workshops or listening sessions at a local departure lounge, meeting with young people and the Youth Voice Consortium to shape youth led creative activities, and coordinating with the Programme Director and local partners to remove barriers and develop accessible cultural events. They may also work closely with artists to develop place-specific commissions or offer their expertise and guidance to community groups producing cultural activity for the first time.

- Passion for supporting and empowering young people, community engagement and/or cultural development

- Respectful, honesty and integrity
- Ability to be adaptive, approachable and flexible
