Youth and Family Support

Family Support
Motiv8 can support you, your children and your family to build better relationships and make changes at home.
Embedded within each of our teams our dedicated Family Support team work closely with Family Support Services (Early Help Hubs) in each area. Offering intensive family support, we take a whole family approach engaging with all those around and supporting a young person – at home, at school and in the community. By building a trusted relationship our support ensures all and particularly the young person have a voice in any change, can offer ongoing tailored practical advice, and ensure positive outcomes that last
We can also run courses that help families to understand their young person and improve relationships, as well as running drop-ins and support sessions for parents when they need it. Our approach to family support works as it is holistic, practical and solution-focused with an emphasis on parental wellbeing.

Motiv8 is proud to be part of the Hampshire Youth Access (HYA) initiative. HYA is a partnership of 11 leading agencies providing counselling, mental health and emotional wellbeing advice and support to children and young people aged 5 – 17 (or 24 for care leavers and SEND) across Hampshire.
Partners also give advice and information to anyone concerned about a child or young person’s emotional wellbeing. By working together, we are able to share experience and best practice. This means that we are in a good position to help improve outcomes for children and young people.
Referrals for this support should be made through the HYA website – hampshireyouthaccess.org.uk
